Our goal - at the material level - is self-sufficiency. It includes energy, food, water, and all other aspects of life. At this time, we still have certain obligations such as mortgage payments, property taxes, insurance, Internet service that require cash flow. Currently, we rely on members' contributions to cover these obligations but having an "internal" source of income is essential for the members to be able to live on the land. We have a number of ideas but most of them require time and money to materialize. Joanna is the first Vedrician who came up with a feasible business model entirely based on the existing resources, and her product is now commercially available.
